Our Story
It all started in the summer of 2020, when Mike and Kirsty both turned up to their Tinder date… in campervans.
With the world paused and the pubs closed, they spent that summer travelling around Scotland, drinking whisky, chasing sunsets and laughing non stop. Somewhere between Calton Hill and the Highlands, they fell in love with van life and each other.
Life moved on, but in 2023 they found their way back to each other. Not long after, their son Tommy arrived, and suddenly van life looked very different.
It meant car seats, shorter trips and learning how to travel in a whole new way.
That’s when they bought Calum, their first family van, and began to see Scotland differently — slower, more intentional, and built around real life rather than perfect plans.
Then came Ruby, and the Van Clan grew again. 🚐💛
As more vans filled the driveway, they started renting them out and quickly realised they loved helping others experience that same freedom.
Today, Van Clan Campers is built on that same idea — making campervan travel simple, supported and genuinely enjoyable, whether it’s your first trip or your fiftieth.
